apologies mean nothing. absolutely nothing. they're just words you say but rarely mean. even if you do mean it, what difference does it make. the pain remains.
forgive and forget. they make it sound so simple. but truly, it's not. i might forgive, but how do i forget the pain that was caused? "fake a smile," i tell myself, "you'll eventually calm down and everything will just pass." but it doesn't, now, does it? it remains in your mind, in your heart.

today
well, we went to the beach. for CIP. there was barely any rubbish to pick, to be honest. i guess that's a good thing, right? well, after about one and a half hours of rubbish-picking, we went to burger king for recess. i ate so much that i was too full for lunch. at least the burger was nice. stalker. it poured afterwards. we all got wet. some of us, more than the other. the bus' ceiling was leaking on the way back to school. horrid. i had to squeeze. everything else was awfully boring. oh well,
